Situated in a most tranquil, rural location, this is the ideal spot for excursions and as a holiday destination. Bikers, walkers and cyclists will always find a welcome at our guesthouse. Discover the advantages of our family-run guesthouse on these pages.

Rooms
We have all the facilities to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Not only the surrounding areas are attractive - our house has a few attractions of its own. For your relaxation we have a roof terrace, a sauna and a solarium. If you prefer sport , we have two bowling alleys available. And for quiet moments, our cosy communal sitting room is ideal.

The" Deutsches Haus" country hotel has 16 double rooms, pleasantly furnished with a cosy atmosphere, where you can truly feel at home. Double rooms can of course be used as singles. In some rooms we can accommodate a third bed if necessary. All rooms are equipped with their own shower or bath and WC, telephone and TV (satellite available).

Restaurant
Our cooking is plain and wholesome and our dishes are prepared from fresh ingredients on the spot. If that means it takes a little longer, please be patient with us! Our beef dishes are prepared with meat from our own Galaway herd.

Our premises can accommodate parties of up to 300 people and our hospitable restaurant seats forty. In the evenings our guests like to mingle in the snug bar.

In our annex, we can cater for up to 70 people. This room is a favourite for use as a meeting hall. Our stuccoed meeting room has capacity for 35 people.

The kitchen serving hours are from 11.30 to 14.00 and from 17.30 to 22.30. We allow ourselves one day off a week, which is Tuesday. We wish you a pleasant stay and "bon appetit".

Bowling alley & hall
In the basement two bowling alleys are available to spend a pleasant evening in the company of friends. As a 11pt incentive, we are delighted to donate a Cup to any Bowling Club using our facilities, for which their members can compete according to their own rules.

Our large hall can be divided up in a number of ways and has room for up to 300 people. In the winter months musical activities take place here and the hall is arranged to include the bar. The elderly are at home here as it is on the ground floor and accessible without stairs so there is no problem of access for wheelchair users. The toilets are on the same floor. The hall is also popular for parties or other events (eg: carnival parties) with local clubs. The local choral society holds its weekly choir practice here.
